There are several options to withdraw money from your OKTO account:

Wire Transfer
If it is the first time you transfer money from your OKTO wallet to a bank account beneficiary, you need to follow the steps in the app and add the beneficiary’s bank account details.

1. Tap to add a bank
2. Choose among the individual or business account details options
3. Fill in the necessary information in the app

In case there already are bank accounts saved in your OKTO app, you need just to select a bank account by tapping it, and type or select the amount for the transaction.

4. Then click on the ‘Send’ button to proceed accordingly

Cash
If it is the first time you deposit cash via your OKTO account with cash you will be asked to allow the app to access your camera to place the QR code of a merchant that supports OKTO cash-out transactions inside the selected area. Scanning will start automatically. Remember that the cash-out option is not available in all territories we operate in and the transactions take place in authorized merchants of our OKTO network.

Peer 2 Peer
You can also send & receive funds through your OKTO account with other OKTO users. The process is fast and super simple.

1. Log in to your OKTO account
2. Select ‘Send & Request’ from the home screen
3. Go to the ‘Send’ or ‘Request section
4. In case it is the first time you are using P2P transfer, allow the OKTO app to access your Contacts.
5. Scroll down or type your friend’s name
6. Type or select the transferred/requested amount and proceed

In the case of send money, once money is transferred, the sender’s available balance decreases instantly. The recipient gets notified immediately that the payment has arrived and their balance increases.

In the case of request money, a request notification sends out instantly to the recipient.

Faster Payments

Faster Payments is a speedy, convenient, and secure way tο make bank payments in the UK. This banking initiative enables customers to withdraw money from their OKTO account in just a few minutes.

• Go to ‘Money Out’ from the Overview Page
• Select one of your saved banks or select ‘Tap here to add bank account.
• While adding a New Bank Account select whether you want to use this bank account for Faster Payments or for Normal Bank Transfer.
• Verify and confirm your Faster Payments Bank Account
• You will be redirected to the Faster Payments 3^rd Party Provider “Citizen” environment, thus you need to select and confirm your bank account.
• Add your account details and approve
• Choose your previously saved bank account
• Enter the amount
• Tap ‘Send’
• Confirm (OR decline) the amount to be transferred.

Card Out

To withdraw money from your OKTO account to your card (debit/prepaid), please follow the steps below:

1. Simply log into your account
2. Select the ‘Money out’ icon in the footer bar
3. Click on ‘Cards’, then choose a card number or tap the button to add card
4. Insert the selected amount*
5. Press the ‘Transfer’ button
6. Tap ‘’Confirm’’
