01. How to create an OKTO Account?

Based on the country you currently live in, you can download OKTO EU, OKTO UK, and OKTO RO app from your local Google Play Store and App Store. Browse and search for OKTO, click the app pictogram and the download process will automatically start. Once the installation process completes, just follow the instructions within the app and start enjoying a complete cashless mobile payment experience in just a few minutes. Opening an OKTO account is fast and easy. To register your need to provide your name, country of residence, birthday, mobile phone, and email.


To create and start using your OKTO account, simply follow the steps below:

1. Open the app and tap create an account

2. Read and accept OKTO’s Terms and Conditions and OKTO’s Privacy Policy to continue

3. Enter your mobile number by selecting your country code (i.e +30 for Greece, +44 or UK, etc.) and insert your mobile number, tap on the ‘Verify’ button, and insert the 4 digit OTP code you receive on your mobile phone via SMS.

4. Enter your email address, tap on the ‘Verify’ button and insert the 4 digit OTP code (If not received, check also the junk folder of your mailbox)

5. Fill in your Personal Data: First Name, Last Name, Nationality, Country of Residence, Birthday, and Press ‘Continue’.

6. Set up your password and retype it for confirmation.

7. Press ‘Finish’ and you’re ready to log in to your OKTO account or you can proceed directly to verify your account.

02. How to verify your identity (Verification Level 1 - Standard) ?

To unlock level 1 (Standard), you will need to submit a valid government ID or Passport and a clear selfie photo. For UK users, a valid driving license can be also accepted among the aforementioned ID verification documents. Make sure that all the details you have entered during your registration are correct. If one type of ID is not working, it may help to try an alternative one from the suggested types. Remember to take a clear shot of both the front and back of the ID card. For passport take a shot of the page including your photo and personal details.

03. How to send and receive money from friends (P2P) ?

You can send & receive funds through your OKTO account. The process is fast and super simple.

1. Log in to your OKTO account

2. Select ‘Send & Request’ from the home screen

3. Go to the ‘Send’ or ‘Request section

4. In case it is the first time you are using P2P transfer, allow the OKTO app to access your Contacts

5. Scroll down or type your friend’s name

6. Type or select the transferred/requested amount and proceed In ‘Send money’, once money is transferred, the sender’s available balance decreases instantly.


The recipient gets notified immediately that the payment has arrived and their balance increases.

In ‘Request money’, a request notification sends out instantly to the recipient.

04. How to order an OKTO Prepaid Mastercard® ?

If you are an OKTO customer residing in a supported country, with a KYC (level 2) Premium verified account, you are able to order an OKTO card 💳simply by following the steps below.

1. Log into your account

2. Press the ‘Cards & Bank Accounts’ icon in the footer bar.

3. Click on ‘Get a Physical Card’

4. Please read carefully the Terms and Conditions and accept them.

5. Fill in your Shipping Address and

6. Select the ‘Order’ button

7. Please note that your account will be charged with the card’s annual fee (for more information on the fees for the OKTO card please visit )


You may expect it delivered to your address within 15 business days. Please note that the PIN code is generated automatically online upon activation of the card. Amount of physical card annual fee.

05. How to change your Responsible Gaming settings ?

OKTO offers a number of responsible gambling tools to help you monitor and control your gambling activity:

– Gambling Profit and Loss Calculator: This tool allows you to filter betting transactions on and off the OKTO wallet for a particular period and check whether the net result is positive or negative.

– Set spending Limits: This allows you to self-manage gambling spending and set daily, weekly, monthly and annual limits. These limits cannot be changed for 24hrs once set.



– Betting/Gaming Time-Out: You can select to self-exclude from your OKTO transactions with gambling merchants that accept OKTO for either one week, one month, six months, or permanently.
